This small friendly boutique Hotel is one of Dartmouth’s oldest and most interesting buildings.
It was originally constructed as a Tudor merchant's house and would have been a welcome sight
when the Pilgrim Fathers stopped off at Bayards Cove on their way to America in August 1620.
The ambience of the Tudor merchant’s house has been carefully preserved and guests are sure to
enjoy the unique character of the hotel and its 7 beautifully refurbished luxury rooms, which
includes 2 family rooms and a luxurious 2 bedroom penthouse suites. During their stay guests can
enjoy the mouth watering cuisine of Bayards Bistro located on the first floor, or a lighter snack
in the Dartmouth Coffee House situated on the ground floor.
In addition we also have two luxurious suites in an annexe house a few metres from the hotel, one of which accommodates small well behaved dogs.
